Tally Errors & Solutions -File Damaged

"File Damaged" File : "Location\Manager.500" Size : 121521 Position : 0 Chars : 128 (done 128). 1. Take a Backup. 2. D elete the TSM extension files in the Data folder for E.g Msgkeep . TSM , Exclusv . TSM , MsgRead . TSM , Tally. TSM (Only for 5.4, 6.3 & 7.2) 3. Rewrite the Company (Alt+ Ctrl +R) Option # 2 I f same error message appears you can to restore a backup taken recently to another location in your hard disk for e.g. C:\Tally\Data1 Open the folder (C:\Tally\Data1\0002) Copy the error file shown for the current company Manager.500 Paste the File to the Current Tally Data folder 0002 and replace the same. Open Tally and Load the company it might work. Take a backup. Rewrite the Company Alt+Ctrl+R If problem still persist its recommended to Restore a recent Backup.

A Common error in Tally Sol: Check Date & Time. Screen Resolution (800 by 600 pixels or (Recommended) 1024 by 768 pixels) with 32 bit high color , Normal fonts -> Load Tally. Delete Printer Drivers Available in the control panal. -> Load Tally Check the Network Printer. Whether you have the Printing Privilages for selected printer. -> Load Tally If you are using any TDL's (Tally Definition Language) Disable all the TDL's. Open Tally folder -> Tally.ini -> " User TDL = Yes " change it as "User TDL = No ". ->Load Tally Check Virus on your System. Delete Tally.Sav file. Re-install Tally in another Folder -> Load Tally Re-Write Company (Take a Backup). Open Tally- Alt + Ctrl + R - Select the company to rewrite - Rewite YES.
